Funding for Leadership and Management
As a commissioned provider of the Government’s Skills Bootcamp, part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee, we are proud to support individuals and organisations in gaining the skills they need for long-term career success.
We have a limited number of funded places available on our flagship Leadership and Management programmes:
Each programme leads to an ILM-accredited qualification, nationally recognised as a benchmark standard for excellence in leadership and management.
Employer Contribution
Our funded programmes are up to 70-90% funded by the Government – meaning, training could be as little as £200 per staff member.

Skills Bootcamp
Funding Eligibility
The Leadership & Management (L&M) Skills Bootcamp is funded through the Department for Education. Funding is available to eligible individuals and employers, subject to residency and employment criteria.
Core Eligibility Criteria (Allplicants)
To qualify for funding, applicants must:
Be aged 19 or over on 31 August prior to the course start date
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold a valid National Insurance number
Not be enrolled on any other government-funded training (including Apprenticeships, Higher Education, Kickstart or Restart programmes)
Funding Routes: Employed Learners
Funding support is available for employers:
90% subsidy for SMEs
70% subsidy for large employers
Employers must:
Have a workplace located within the funding authority area
Require the training to support re-skilling or significant role development
Must evidence their commitment to progressing the delegate through the business. This can be via:
- Promotion
- Pay increase
- Added responsibility leading to progression
Residency & Immigration Eligibility
Funding eligibility follows national Adult Education Budget (AEB) rules.
Eligible Learners Include:
UK Nationals
UK nationals (or those with right of abode)
Ordinarily resident in the UK, British Overseas Territories, or Crown Dependencies for the previous 3 years
EU / EEA / Swiss Nationals
Individuals with pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme
Must have lived in the UK, EEA or Switzerland for the previous 3 years
Irish Citizens
Irish citizens resident in the UK or Ireland for the previous 3 years
Non-UK Nationals
Must have lived in the UK for 3 years
Hold permission to live in the UK (not solely for study)
Or have settled/pre-settled status
Refugees & Individuals with Leave to Remain
The following are eligible and exempt from the 3-year residency rule:
Refugee status
Indefinite Leave to Remain
Humanitarian protection
Discretionary or Exceptional Leave
Ukraine Family, Sponsorship or Extension Schemes
Section 67 leave
Calais leave
Certain Afghan evacuation schemes
Valid immigration documentation (e.g. BRP) must be provided.
Asylum Seekers
Eligible where:
They have lived in the UK for 6+ months awaiting a Home Office decision
Or receive qualifying local authority support
Certain refused asylum seekers may qualify where appeals or support provisions apply.
Armed Forces Personnel
Eligible groups include:
British Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence personnel based in England
Those posted overseas (treated as ordinarily resident)
Family members (subject to residency rules)
Individuals Not Eligible for Funding
Funding cannot be claimed for individuals who:
Are in the UK without lawful status
Hold a student visa (unless qualifying through another category)
Are in the UK as a visitor
Have study restrictions on their biometric residence permit
