Steve Ginn is an accomplished learning and development specialist with a career spanning more than two decades across education, financial services, local government, and the private sector. Known for his enthusiasm, innovation, and forward-thinking approach, Steve has built a reputation for designing and delivering high-impact learning experiences that drive measurable improvement for individuals and organisations alike.

Steve began his professional journey in the commercial sector, developing strong leadership, sales, and operational management skills within high-performance environments including financial services and media. Early roles honed his expertise in coaching, mentoring, process improvement, and performance management, alongside a deep understanding of customer experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.

In 2008, Steve transitioned into education, where he spent over a decade as a teacher, designated safeguarding lead and headteacher. Leading teams of around 20 staff, he was responsible for the training, development, and performance management of all colleagues. During this period, he successfully transformed an underperforming school culture, leading a comprehensive rewrite of the curriculum in response to Ofsted’s demanding framework. His research-led, learner-centred approach delivered improved outcomes for all students while embedding a culture of continuous professional development.

A strong advocate of innovation, Steve was an early adopter of cloud-based and blended learning technologies. He embedded digital platforms to enhance learning, introduced online modular training to support staff development and retention, and ensured continuity of high-quality education during pandemic-related school closures. His ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders – including parents, councils, regulators, and external agencies – became a defining strength of his leadership style.

Since 2020, Steve has worked nationally as an associate trainer, partnering with organisations to design and deliver a wide range of leadership and management programmes. His advanced research and content authoring skills, combined with exceptional communication and facilitation, have resulted in consistently strong feedback and repeat business. Drawing on qualifications in education, project management, and recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2 and MSP, Steve brings structure, creativity, and clarity to complex learning challenges.
